Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our U.S. team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth in the North American market by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, strengthening existing alliances and developing strategies to expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for fostering long-term partnerships. A strong willingness to travel is essential, as you will engage with clients and attend industry events to promote our initiatives and build connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management and product development, to align business development strategies with company goals
- Prepare sales quotes and assist customers with pricing and product selection based on their needs
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market conditions, and competitor activities
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the company and establish connections
- Conduct training sessions for customers and partners to ensure they maximize the value of our products and services
- Help customers with technical and application-based questions to ensure they effectively utilize the products
- Provide feedback to the leadership team on market trends and customer needs
Qualifications
- Solid technical education and experience, ideally in engineering, biomedical technology, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in business development, product management, sales, or a related role
- Proven knowledge and established network within the biomedical test equipment industry
- Experience in conducting training sessions for clients or customers
- Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and events
- Knowledge of mechanical ventilation testing is preferable
