Medical Air Compressor business sold
Buchs, Switzerland, 31 July 2020 - A global player in the ventilation industry takes over the compressor division of Buchser IMT Analytics. The biomedical test equipment division remains in the hands of the previous owners.
Since 2011 IMT Analytics (formerly imtmedical ag) has been supplying a world leader in ventilation technology with medical compressed air compressors. The compressed air compressors division will now be transferred. With this step we can concentrate on the highly specialized and growing area of "medical measuring devices," explains Harri Friberg, CEO of IMT Analytics.
The business division of biomedical testing devices is growing and so is the annual calibration and maintenance. That is why more jobs are being created at the headquarter in Switzerland in order to cope with the higher order volume. IMT Analytics AG achieved record results in the first 6 months of this year. The corona pandemic has seen sales of measuring devices and test lungs for testing ventilators and anesthesia devices soar.
